Profile for Lauren Dean
Dr. Lauren Dean, DVM
Owner & Veterinarian
Dr. Lauren Dean is a compassionate and empathetic veterinarian with over 7 years of experience in the field. She graduated from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine and then completed a one year internship in medicine, emergency, and surgery at Mississippi State University.

She continued her training with a 1 year surgical internship at University of Missouri and a 1 year internship in surgical teaching at Louisiana State University. She is a published author in several veterinary journals. She has additional training in spay and neuter surgeries and in behavior and Fear Free principles.

Her areas of interest are wellness and preventative care to reduce disease and in pain management, palliative, and end of life care.

After several years in general practice and urgent care medicine where appointments always felt rushed, she has decided  to build a practice with relationship based medicine where questions are answered no matter how unrelated and getting to know the owner is just as important as healing the pet.

Outside of her veterinary practice she enjoys traveling and has visited over 34 countries and counting!

Emly Clark, CVT
Certified Veterinary Technician
I am a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with experience in veterinary medicine since 2009. I began my formal veterinary technology education at Pensacola State College in 2019, graduating in May 2021 and earning my CVT credentials after successfully passing the VTNE in August 2021.

My professional passions include client education, exceptional patient care, anesthesia, geriatric medicine, and palliative care. I am committed to providing compassionate, individualized care while continually expanding my knowledge and skills. Staying current with advances in veterinary medicine is an important part of my dedication to professional growth and providing the highest quality care to my patients and their families.

Outside of veterinary medicine, most of my free time revolves around my two beloved Papillons and our adventures in dog sports and conformation. When I'm not at a dog event, I'm usually trying to convince my husband and two kiddos to make another trip to Disney World - as often as they'll let me!
